At the Financial Blogger Conference, some of us were asked by CreditCards.com what was the best money advice we ever got. Check out the video, and look for my answer! Also, sound off in the comments. What’s the best financial advice you ever got? How about the worst?
Best advice? Give yourself a cash allowance per pay period and don’t use your credit or debit card unless necessary (like gifts or groceries). It works even better if you take them right out of your wallat. Once the cash runs out, you’re outta luck until next payday!
Worst advice? I don’t think I’ve actually listened to bad advice. I’m pretty smart when it comes to finances.
That’s a good idea. I rarely have cash but I’m a lot more mindful when I do.
Briana, you look great, pleasant face, beautiful teeth! This has nothing to do with money of course so no need to print! Just wanted you to feel good.
Thanks Jan!
Great video! This is the first time I’ve been to your blog! I love your design!
The video was pretty good too. The worst I ever got: Work hard, retire at age 65. I want to retire at age 40, then start a charity.
Thank you so much 🙂 Ooh what kind of charity do you want to start?
