Kids are spendy! That shouldn’t be a shock to anyone. But the “sticker shock” in a monetary form can look astronomical. But i like how in your post you showed options that can make it much more affordable. And I will tell you that simple money saving tactics can offset any cost. But kids come with so many extra costs you just can’t predict. I have been reading a great book by to ladies Aylsworth/Manchester called The Joy of Skinny: Finances, they have some great tips on finances and saving and getting ahead of expenses.
