Newlywed Homebuyers

wedding

On May 20, 2011, we went from 20 and engaged to 20 and Married! The ceremony was planned in a week, cost less than $2,000, and was an amazing day, despite it not meeting my initial expectations for an over the top ceremony and reception.

20 and Laid Off

Days after a car accident, just a couple weeks after getting engaged, about a month before a move, and right after I even started my blog, I became 20 and Laid Off unexpectedly from my job. Baby Bucket List

There’s bucket lists, which are things you want to accomplish before you pass away, then there’s a baby bucket list, a list of things you want to accomplish before your bun comes out of the oven. I’m hoping to accomplish most of those things in 2012. We’ll see!

Courthouse Wedding

Back when I was agonizing over whether to scrape up every penny off the ground to have a “real wedding”, I was highly considering (and ultimately chose) to do a Courthouse Wedding. We decided on a different way though. Not so much eloping with a couple friends. We decided to have a civil ceremony with only close family. Didn’t go over well with everyone, especially since many of them found out via Facebook and Twitter, but I think everyone is over it!

Check out the top 20 posts of 20 and Engaged to see what else went on this year. I want to wish you all a happy new year. Celebrate safely and responsibly, and I will see you in 2012!
