We are so close to the end of 2011, I can smell it! The very first year of 20 and Engaged has been a whirlwind, and many of you were here for it all. For the newbies who have found themselves in a web of my madness, here are some of the best posts of 20 and Engaged. Let’s enjoy, shall we?
On May 20, 2011, we went from 20 and engaged to 20 and Married! The ceremony was planned in a week, cost less than $2,000, and was an amazing day, despite it not meeting my initial expectations for an over the top ceremony and reception.
Days after a car accident, just a couple weeks after getting engaged, about a month before a move, and right after I even started my blog, I became 20 and Laid Off unexpectedly from my job. We decided on a different way though. Not so much eloping with a couple friends. We decided to have a civil ceremony with only close family. Didn’t go over well with everyone, especially since many of them found out via Facebook and Twitter, but I think everyone is over it!
